2026年2月、伊勢丹新宿店で開催されたIHNNの2026年春夏コレクション「INVITATION TO THE DAILY LIFE – 日常への招待」のPOP-UP STOREにて、PLYALの宮下渉が会場什器のデザイン・製作を担当しました。

IHNNのウェアをはじめ、Atelier de LUMENのバッグやシューズ、KIM JUNSUのアート作品を展示する什器として、Wood Mortarを使用。日常の何気ない瞬間に、ささやかな違和感＝アンバランスを加えるというコレクションの思想に呼応し、有機的なフォルムと端正な構成を組み合わせました。異なるプロダクトを緩やかにつなぎ、それぞれの存在を引き立てながら、空間に静かなリズムを生み出しています。

In February 2026, Wataru Miyashita of PLYAL designed and produced the display fixtures for IHNN’s Spring/Summer 2026 pop-up, “INVITATION TO THE DAILY LIFE,” held at Isetan Shinjuku.

Incorporating Wood Mortar, the fixtures displayed IHNN’s clothing alongside bags and shoes by Atelier de LUMEN and artworks by KIM JUNSU. Responding to the collection’s concept of introducing a subtle sense of imbalance into everyday moments, the design combines organic forms with a refined structure. The fixtures gently connect the different works, allowing each to retain its presence while creating a quiet rhythm throughout the space.

岐阜県多治見市の小高い丘に佇む「天光の湯」は、天然ラドン温泉をはじめ、多様なサウナや水風呂、広々とした外気浴空間を備えた温浴施設です。

この空間のために、サウナ用の座スツール、ベンチ、チェアをデザインしました。サウナで熱を受け、水風呂で身体を冷まし、外気浴で呼吸を整える。それぞれの場面で変化する身体の状態に寄り添い、天光の湯で過ごす一連の体験を心地よくつなぐ家具を目指しました。

Located on a hill in Tajimi, Gifu, Tenko no Yu is a natural hot spring facility featuring radon-rich waters, a variety of saunas and cold baths, and spacious outdoor relaxation areas.

For this setting, we designed a sauna stool, bench, and chair. Each piece responds to the body as it moves through heat, cold water, and outdoor rest, creating a comfortable and continuous experience throughout Tenko no Yu.

日本酒をロックにして、スダチを加える。トニックウォーターで割ってみる。自由な発想とほんの一手間で日本酒をもっと楽しくする「日本酒遊び」がテーマのお店がオープンするにあたり空間とお客様の体験を意識してオリジナルチェアをデザイン。

Bringing Sake Closer to Everyday Life, Carrying Bar Culture into the Future

Serve sake on the rocks with a slice of sudachi. Try mixing it with tonic water. To mark the opening of a bar themed around “Playing with Sake”—which makes sake more enjoyable through creative ideas and a little extra effort—we designed original chairs with a focus on the space and the customer experience.

ルミネ有楽町のShinzoneに向けて、店舗什器を製作しました。デザイン・製作は、INCARNATION.の中村鷹聖と、PLYALの宮下渉による共作です。

Shinzone有楽町店が掲げる「DIALOG NEW CLASSIC」という空間コンセプトに呼応し、自然素材の表情と現代的で端正な構成を融合。什器の一部にWood Mortarを用い、衣服を引き立てながら、空間に静かな存在感を与える什器を目指しました。

We created a series of custom store fixtures for Shinzone at LUMINE Yurakucho, designed and produced in collaboration between Takamasa Nakamura of INCARNATION. and Wataru Miyashita of PLYAL.

Responding to the store’s spatial concept, “DIALOG NEW CLASSIC,” the fixtures combine the expressive qualities of natural materials with a refined, contemporary structure. Wood Mortar is incorporated into selected elements, creating a quiet presence within the space while allowing the clothing to remain the focus.
